“ Saturday early lunch with the gals. They open at 11 AM. We met up at 11:30. Dining room room was empty, except for us and one other table. I ordered their lunch special of a giant baked potato topped with tri-tip and a side salad for $14. As a first timer, I was very impressed with this meal and the service. The meat was delicious and it was generously heaped on the baked potato along with all the other yummy toppings. Everyone else at my table raved about the food that they ordered as well. Definitely will be back. ”
“ Absolutely yummy appetizers and food. The bread pudding is a must. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive so excellent customer service. We would have sat outside but the weather was gloomy. Kinda small on the inside. However, the food makes it worth it. ”

Ended up getting the bacon wrapped filet which was cooked perfectly medium rare but the steak itself wasn't hot when it came out so dock one star. The homemade chicken soup was great with large chunks of chicken. Nice local spot that I can see has its charm but prob won't be back anytime soon. ”
“ My girlfriend and I stopped in here for a beer and steak dinner on a Saturday night. They had many beer choices. I asked the server what her favorite item in the menu was and she advised that the filet mignon was what she had the day before. I went with her suggestion and I was not disappointed. It came with mixed vegetables and wild rice. It was cooked perfectly. The server did not bother us one bit yet was still attentive. It was kind of small inside, but honestly it was perfect. We ended up chatting for a while, and before we knew it, it was time to close. Not once did they rush us, it was really nice. ”

“ Kahootz is always a great option and a go-to of ours! We love the atmosphere, service and the food options. Food: 4/5. The steak was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were slightly disappointing and pretty dry. The steak sandwich was really good! The coleslaw was just ok. Drinks are always great! Atmosphere: 5/5. At 5:30 on a week night this place is packed. It's a great cozy environment. We've also sat outside before which is a totally different vibe but just as good. Service: 5/5. The service is always great! We got our food fairly quickly for how busy it was and our waitress was very attentive and nice. Kid friendly: 3/5. We took our little one here when she was only a few months old and it was good. The staff was nice and loved interacting with her. It can be a little loud and cramped for families. I also didn't notice a kids menu but wasn't really looking for one. The patio when the weather is good might be a good option for kids. Personally I think this is a better date night option. ”
“ Hard to find a better steak for the price in Meridian. This place is consistent, almost predictable. When you want a steak a certain way, those are the qualities I'm interested in. It's hard to get into because it's so popular, but don't be afraid to sit outside, even when the weather is a bit cool. They keep those heaters going and it's quite comfortable. The inside is tight but quaint, service is top notch and they have a great beer and wine selection. Enjoy this gem in Meridian, you won't be disappointed! ”
